Having housekeeping come in and make the bed is important to Charlie. It is dificult for him to make, and this is a service that he wants to have. He will probably have to do it himself on weekends and holidays, but today was the first weekday that the service was turned on. Check off another item on the list- Housekeeping!
This walk did tire him out a bit, and we thought he had a 2:00 "Residents Meeting" where it would be "Meet the Newcomers" time. The bed did look so enticing now,... So he slept for about 45 minutes to an hour before lunch.

After lunch, Charlie explained his War Medals to me.
