There were people a plenty, but the line moved well, and we got out barbequed chicken, cornbread, hot dog, salad, and when we got inside, they had Miller Genuine Draft beer, Charlie's favorite. I took a picture of him, and gave him the camera to take a picture of me. We had ice cream for dessert, and coffee. They even had good wine (Sterling Merlot), so I brought a taste to the table, and let him know that they had good taste in wine, for future reference. There was a piano player, and all the songs were all of this generation, and patriotic, like "Over There, The Yanks are Coming, Grand Old Flag, etc" A 94 year old strolled by, and talked to Charlie, a freshman at 85.

We finished unpacking all remaining bedding stuff, creating a box of items to be cleaned and returned to storage. I made the bed, complete with the "skirt" which goes around the bottom of the bed, now that we had everything together.

He took a 2 hour nap in the afternoon, a half hour longer than yesterday's nap. I went to my room, and checked e-mail, and worked on yesterday's pages, and rested a bit myself.

I woke him for the afternoon session.
