On Sunday, we got up early to beat the heat. Mom and I got out to Powder Valley, one of her favorite places, which is a Missouri Commision park. Mom did a small amount of walking, and her strength was good.
There is a 1/2 size replica of the longboat style used by Lewis and Clark. This was a fun place for George and Mimi when they visited from Germany.

There is a promanently displayed mounted deer, with a clear Schwarz Studio, Inc. displayed.

(although my camera wasn't steady)

I think this birdhouse was a prelude to our hanging her Farmhouse Birdhouse, from Christmas 99

There was lots of other fun stuff at Power Valley

The Schwarz Studio was owned my Mom's cousins. Their occupation led to our Skull Collection, when we were kids. I later in this trip got to Webster High and took pictures of the skulls which were remaining from that collection.
