When you first arrive, you see the DC-3, but if you've been here before, you know its mostly a Train Museum. But it also does have some interesting cars. In particular, the Stanley Steamer tells an interesting story.

It was one of those 98 degree high humidity days. I learned to re-adapt to the St Louis weather, and this day of being out in the heat reminded me a lot of a time when George and I dragged Uncle Charlie out to this same museum, in the middle of one summer long ago.

After the museum, I changed clothes, and drove Mom up to Wendy's house for dinner.
